I've spent hours preparing two "talkies" in honor of Jonathan, but neither is worthy of him at this point, and I'm running out of time.
(I call the movie maker on my computer a talkie because it's low tech like the talkies of 1920's and 1930's. It's just me talking while still photos move.)
But I thought it was a way to get hundreds of photos and documents into a tribute to him, and that part worked. The artlessness of my narrative is what's unworthy of him, especially since one of the talkies is about his wit in the tongue-in-cheek tributes he pays me.
So in desperation as his 40th comes closer, I'm going to use this blog. If it embarrasses him beyond belief, I will remove it. Otherwise it's here to stay.
